Malibu ™ Pedicle Screw System

The Malibu pedicle screw takes a systems approach to posterior thoracolumbar and sacral fusion. Every design detail, from the integrated locking cap, to the thread design, to the rod and screw interface, is optimized and complimentary to produce a system that is both clinically versatile and easy to use.The Malibu, UCR, NewPort Systems are intended to be used as a temporary or permanent
posterior, non-cervical implant to correct spinal disorders and provide stabilization of the spine to permit the biological process of spinal fusions to occur. Accepted standard techniques of spinal fusion are an integral part of the implantation of these systems.

The UCR system contains polyaxial screws of varying reduction height, rods, caps, set screws, crosslinks, crossbars and hooks.The Malibu system contains polyaxial screws of varying reduction height, cannulated polyaxial screws of varying reduction height, uniplanar screws of varying reduction height, monoaxial screws, illiac monoaxial screws, rods, rod connectors, screw spacers, crossbars, sublaminar wires and hooks.
