QUANTUM®

October 12, 2013 By SPINEMarketGroup

The Quantum Spinal Fixation Systems allows the surgeon to create a rigid construct in the thoracolumbar spine using pedicle screws, locking caps, rods, and Streamline® TL Crosslinks. The unique locking mechanism is designed to create a precise compression force that provides consistent locking of the screw to the rod.

Product Overview:

Screws

  • Extremely low profile design yields more room for graft material
  • 40° conical angulation of polyaxial screws provide intraoperative flexibility
  • Polyaxial and fixed versions are available
  • “Anvil” feature in head deforms to rod contour for greater contact area

Locking Cap

  • Non-threaded design eliminates the possibility of cross-threading
  • “Saddle” feature distributes load on rod over greater area than typical set screw designs
  • Etched lines on cap and screw provide visual verification of locked position

Features:

  • Polyaxial screw diameters include 4.00, 4.75, 5.75, 6.75 and 7.75mm
  • Fixed screw diameters include in 4.00, 4.75, 5.75, 6.75, 7.75 and 8.75mm
  • Multiple hook configurations, offset connectors and rod connectors
  • Pre-bent, straight and hex end rods available
  • Titanium and Cobalt Chrome rods available
