X3D-Front

July 26, 2016 By SPINEMarketGroup

The X3D-Front implant is designed for a proper lumbar interbody fusion using anterior and oblique approaches. It is fitted with two locking screws that anchor the device to the vertebral bodies.

  • X3D-ALIF-Brochure.SAI.pdf

Devices made with titanium 3D printing, using the SLM (Selective Laser Melting) technique, which uses a laser to sinter metal powder layer by layer. This technology is innovative for the design and production of implants, since it allows to create products with new shapes that cannot be made using conventional manufacturing processes.

Benefits:

  • Maximum precision.
  • Ability to make complex structures.
  • Implant design at macro, micro and nano-structural level.

Features:

  • Porous structure: The structure of our titanium implants is specially designed to mimic the cancellous bone average features, taking into account its porosity percentage and size. This provides an osteoconductive environment within the implant, facilitating osseointegration and intervertebral fixation.Pore size: 400-500 microns.Porosity percentage: 75%
  • Physical properties: Elasticity (X3D-Front implants are developed by mimicking the elastic properties of cortical bone. This prevents subsidence of the vertebral bodies and improves bone growth.
  • Easy to place: Self-distractor design (Easier insertion). This angle restores the physiological lordosis of the lumbar spine. The angle can be 8°, 12° or 18°.
  • Better handling and positioning: Anterior and oblique placement points. The instruments can be introduced from different angles. Radioscopy guiding holes. It enables to compress the bone replacement.
