VEOS is a top loading posterior fixation system offering the possibility to perform semi-rigid posterior fixation with PEEK-OPTIMA™ rods. VEOS implants are available in a range of shapes and sizes for screws, locking screws, rods and connectors.

Indications
- VEOS system can be used in skeletally mature individuals (adults) for the posterior fixation of the lumbar spine.
- It is indicated for the treatment of the degenerative spine.
- VEOS can also be used in revision surgery in case of failure of a previous procedure.

About Spine Innovations
Spine Innovations is the manufacturer of the ESP disc protheses. The ESP disc prothesis is the result of 10 years of collaborative research work at the HôpitalPitié Salpêtrière in Paris, the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) and the UniversitéParis VI, and was driven by the Oséo Innovation contest in France.
Unlike traditional articulated prostheses composed of moving metal parts, ESP prostheses use a viscoelastic core designed to replicate the biomechanical behavior of a healthy intervertebral disc.
This technology is specifically designed to:
- preserve mobility in the operated segment;
- replicate the six physiological degrees of freedom;
- provide shock absorption similar to that of a natural disc.
The LP-ESP (lumbar prosthesis) received its CE marking in 2007and the CP-ESP® (cervical prosthesis) in 2012.
