VENUS® Spinal Fixation System

October 12, 2013 By SPINEMarketGroup

The VENUS® Spinal Fixation System is designed to address all thoracolumbar needs for a wide range of indications such as degenerative disc disease, degenerative spondylolisthesys, degenerative stenosis, scoliosis, kyphosis, spinal fractures, and spondylitis, as well as other conditions that need revision surgery.

Throughout the design process, simplicity in design, ease of implantation, and reliability in performance were emphasized without sacrificing the various options we wish to provide for the operating spinal surgeon.

The VENUS® System is an accommodating system. It offers the choice of inserting a standard monoaxial bone screw, polyaxial bone screw, a long head reduction screw or hooks in a huge variation in the modular fashion.

Our flexibility and the quality instruments we provide allow a controlled, predictable and also a percutaneous assembly.

The mechanically streamlined features of the VENUS® System reduce obstacles, increase viewing area and facilitate unobstructed insertion for thorough interbody device placement.

With its reliable, accommodating and streamlined features, the VENUS® Spinal Fixation System is a durable and secure system which is easy to assemble.

Reduction

The VENUS® Exclusive-Reduction long-head screws complement the innovative design feature of the standard screws in an optimal way. They allow the correction and stabilization of the spine in particular complex anatomical relationships.

The screw has a removable extension of the screw head with its inner thread. Based on that, an easy approximation of the spine, at the desired sagittal or axial profile, is made possible.

Deformity

The VENUS® Exclusive hook system complement the innovative design feature of the standard screw system in an optimal way. It allows the correction and stabilization of the spine in particular complex anatomical relationships.

The harmonious combination of innovative instruments and a very comprehensive implant selection, maximize the intra-operative flexibility of the surgeon to take out the challenges in a user-friendly way, even in the most demanding pathologies.

Revision

The VENUS® Exclusive Revision system allows a guided correction and stabilization of the spine and is the logical development of all innovative design features of the standard screw system. The wire-guided placement of the pedicle screws increases the operational safety of every known surgical techniques, with reliable biomechanical stability.

The comprehensive range of cannulated screws is complemented with a selection of extra long screws and maximizes the intra-operative flexibility of the surgeon.

6T-Screw

Three different versions for individual applications offers a high range of applications:
Monoaxial Screws – Polyaxial Screws – Polyaxial Screws cannulated.
The thread contour offers the following advantages compared to standard systems:

• self-tapping screw no taps required

• self-locking thread

• protection against loosening and loosening the screw despite dynamic load
