The Universal Spine System is a comprehensive family of instrument and implant systems intended for posterior pedicle fixation. All USS systems are side-opening, top-tightening systems.

  • Permits sagittal and lateral screw offset

Small Stature USS

  • Designed to correct scoliosis either by segmental correction or global derotation 
  • For pediatric and smaller patients 
  • Hooks available in multiple sizes and configurations 
  • 5.0 mm rod system 



USS Dual Opening for Deformity

  • Designed to correct scoliosis either by segmental translation or global derotation Dual-opening screw and hooks reduce inventory and simplify intraoperative procedure 
  • 6.0 mm rod system 
USS Fracture

USS Fracture
  • Features multiple fracture clamps and dual-core Schanz screws for posterior fracture reduction
  • Can be used for spondylolisthesis reduction 
  • Clamps offer angulation in the sagittal plane 
  • Schanz screws are available in 3 diameters and 5 thread lengths 
  • 6.0 mm rod system
USS Polyaxial and Iliosacral Spine Fixation

USS Illiac
  • Designed to correct scoliosis either by segmental correction or global derotation 
  • Polyaxial screwhead offers up to 25º of angulation
  • Iliac connectors allow ±25º of angulation; additional notch feature allows a total of 40º angulation 
  • Fixed, telescopic and S2 connectors are available 
  • 6.0 mm rod system
