Twist Technologies

October 18, 2014 By SPINEMarketGroup

Twist Technologies has designed an expandable interbody cage platform, the OrigamiTM cage platform, which is suitable for cages for all surgical approaches. The OrigamiTM cages are simple expandable interbody implants – two to three components only -, are suited for 3D printing and feature one cage body and at least one extension member to expand the volume of the cage. The cages have two configurations : the extension member is folded in the cage body for the insertion of the implant and is pivotably deployed in situ to expand the footprint of the implants relative to the vertebrae. Some of the designs increase both the width and the height of the implants. Visit our website : www.twisttech.ch“
