Synergy Spine Solutions and Johnson & Johnson MedTech Extend Strategic Collaboration into Germany

October 1, 2025 By SPINEMarketGroup

Louisville, Colorado – October 1 – Synergy Spine Solutions, an innovative orthopaedic medical device company focused on artificial cervical disc replacement, today announced the expansion of its sales agency agreement with Johnson & Johnson MedTech Germany.

This agreement builds on the success of the existing sales agency agreements with Johnson & Johnson Medtech across the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland and Switzerland.  The inclusion of Germany, a large & key European market for spine innovation, represents a strategic step forward in expanding access to the Synergy Disc® for spine surgeons and their patients.

The expansion of this sales relationship marks the continued momentum behind the Synergy Disc®, the only artificial cervical disc with a 6° lordotic core that combines cervical alignment and balance with natural motion for patients with degenerative disc disease (DDD) causing radiculopathy and / or myelopathy.

The unique design of the Synergy Disc® utilises time-tested materials that are aligned with the stringent standards of Johnson & Johnson MedTech and their role as a global leader in orthopaedic and spine technology.

The agreement reflects a shared commitment to bringing innovation to spine surgery and patients, through a strong commercial infrastructure, deep clinical knowledge, and surgeon-first focus.
