Spineology Launches OptiMesh® HA Nano

January 13, 2026 By SPINEMarketGroup

St. Paul, MN – January 13, 2026 – Spineology Inc., the pioneer in conforming patient-specific expandable implant technology, today announced the launch of OptiMesh HA Nano, the company’s latest advancement in personalized spinal care.  The launch represents a significant step forward in expandable interbody fusion innovation, combining Spineology’s proprietary OptiMesh® expandable interbody implant platform with Promimic AB’s patented HA Nano Surface technology.

OptiMesh HA Nano technology integrates a well-studied nano-thin hydroxyapatite surface treatment designed to create an ultra-hydrophilic absorption environment that supports cellular interaction at the bone-implant interface. The HA Nano surface is intended to promote rapid cellular response and establish a three-dimensional bioactive surface area, with the goal of accelerating osseointegration and reducing the potential risk of infection.  This patented surface technology has been shown to enhance biological performance by encouraging stronger and faster bonding between bone and implant.

“This addition of the HA Nano technology to the OptiMesh portfolio underscores our continued commitment to innovation and patient-specific care,” said Brian Snider, Chief Executive Officer of Spineology. “The OptiMesh platform is uniquely built on our conform and expand implant technology that adapts to individual patient anatomy. Now, Spineology delivers a first-of-its-kind solution that integrates a well-studied surface treatment, optimized to support spinal fusion goals, and promote osseointegration.”

The OptiMesh implant undergoes the same rigorous testing as traditional expandable implant technology, meeting all required ASTM testing standards, and FDA clearance requirements, and is demonstrated to maintain long term structural stability with posterior supplemental fixation. OptiMesh® HA Nano is the first conformable, engineered mesh interbody implant platform to incorporate this nano-scale hydroxyapatite surface technology through a proprietary application process.  This milestone reinforces Spineology’s commitment to advancing expandable implant technology through surface innovation designed to support lumbar interbody fusion procedures.
