SOLIS Cervical cage |
The SOLIS Cervical cage is a hollow, round interbody device designed for use in the cervical spine. The design of the SOLIS implant features serrations on the top and bottom of the cage to enhance a secure, confident fit. This design allows for a great contact area between the bone graft and properly prepared endplates.
Titanium spikes, combined with the retentive serrations on the anterior and posterior aspects of the cage help prevent migration of the implant once it is put in place. The SOLIS device is made of PEEK material and takes full advantage of its unique properties. This product also exist without spike under the name of Solis NS.
Benefits:
- PEEK’s modulus of elasticity is closer to that of cancellous bone than either stainless steel or titanium.
- Anatomy matching design allows for variations in anatomical structures from patient to patient.
- Titanium anchoring spikes and bone-hugging serrations enhance a secure fit.
- Implant design provides generous bone graft area.
- PEEK material provides good radiolucency for post-op visualization.
- Comprehensive instrumentation also includes a minimally invasive bone graft harvesting instrument set.
