The lateral sacroiliac joint fusion system includes the SIros™ 3D Printed implants to provide optimal stabilization of the SI joint. This approach allows lateral access and treatment of the SI joint with the aid of compressive implants.
Features &Benefits:
- Designed to minimize micromotion to enable bony fusion
- Rifled inner diameter reduces the likelihood of pin migration
- Differential pitch allows controlled compression across the joint
- Increased surface roughness facilitates osteoconduction
- Fenestration allows for direct allograft apposition across the joint
- Anti-migratory external threads prevent implant backout
- Aggressive tip and rifled inner diameter improve the implant’s ability to harvest bone
- Available in 9.5mm, 11.5mm, and 13.5mm* diameters
Self-tapping SI anchors
- Offered in single thread and dual thread configurations.
- All have washer head designs for added support.
- Available in 7.0mm diameter
- Dual thread designs have a differential pitch for controlled compression across the joint.
- Cannulated design allows for minimally invasive placement.
Washers (optional)
- Designed to maximize purchase on the ilium without burying the implant head in the bone.
- Washers can toggle around the head of the Anchor/ Implant allowing it to sit flush against the patient’s bone even if the implant is placed at an angle.
About Genesys Spine
Founded in December of 2009, Genesys Spine’s mission was to bring a suite of medical implants and instruments with novel characteristics into a mature spinal fusion market. Since that time, Genesys has released four new FDA cleared product lines with several other products in various stages of the design and development cycle. Genesys has also developed several proprietary instruments to aid in the use of its products. All of Genesys’ inaugural products including our system specific instruments, have garnered very positive feedback from the marketplace. Our implants, with their proprietary features, all remain within existing parameters for today’s current reimbursement codes.
