Phoenix Cervical Disc

June 20, 2015 By SPINEMarketGroup

Built with the knowledge of clinically proven technology, the Phoenix cervical disc arthroplasty provides next-generation advanced kinematics. The Phoenix geometry replicates the natural motion of the intervertebral by allowing for five degrees of freedom and axially compliant endplates.

The Phoenix Cervical Disc arthroplasty is manufactured from a combination of high performance materials selected specifically for MRI compatibility and ‘low wear’ debris generation. This allows for non-invasive postoperative imaging of the treated level. The combination of PEEK-on-Ceramic materials provides a low-friction and smoothly articulating wear-couple.

The KCDX may be used to treat single level Symptomatic Cervical Disc Disease (SCDD) between the C3-C7 levels.

Benefits:

  • Low profile anatomically shaped disc provides a close match to patient anatomy
  • Low imaging signature provides high quality post-operative MR images
  • Intuitive instrumentation combined with a simple surgical procedure reduces theatre time
