Paradigm Spine GmbH and RIWOspine UK are pleased to announce the strategic partnership for the UK distribution of the eFuse® expandable interbody cages with surface technology.

February 7, 2025 By SPINEMarketGroup

Paradigm Spine GmbH, a leading innovator in spinal technologies, is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with RIWOspine UK to distribute its cutting-edge eFuse® expandable interbody cages with surface technology across the United Kingdom. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in advancing minimally invasive spine surgery techniques, particularly for patients undergoing TLIF Oblique, PLIF, and endoscopic procedures.

eFuse®: A Revolution in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery
The eFuse® expandable interbody cages with surface technology provide a breakthrough solution for spinal fusion procedures. These cages offer a unique in situ expansion feature, which helps restore the normal anatomic disc height and ensures decompression of the neural structures. This technology enables spine surgeons to achieve optimal outcomes with a minimally invasive approach, reducing the need for large incisions and minimizing damage to surrounding tissues.

Designed for use in TLIF Oblique (Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion) and PLIF (Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion) procedures, the eFuse® cages offer precise control over spinal alignment and disc restoration. The added benefit of supporting endoscopic procedures further enhances its versatility, providing a broad range of options for both traditional and minimally invasive spine surgeries.

Specification

  • Titanium endplate design
  • 3 mm bullet tip
  • Endplate with 8°, 12° and 15° lordosis
  • No change of pre-expansion length to post-expansion lenght
  • 8 mm – 13 mm height options in small implant
  • Different implant lengths are availible

Features and benefits

  • Tactile and visual confirmation of expansion prevents over-distraction
  • Less stock investment due to less needed sizes because of expandable technology
  • Post-pack design allows for insertion of graft material after expansion
  • Controlled in situ expansion allows for foraminal and disc height restoration, as well physiological levels of lordosis
