ONIX

July 18, 2016 By SPINEMarketGroup

The ONIX® cage system self-sustaining cervical PEEK (biocompatible polymer), comes in various heights, with an angle of 6º, and includes 2 titanium markers at the front and back end.

Double anchor system

  • It has a static anchor composed of pins in titanium for stabilization of the cage in the intervertebral space, it also has a second anchor by means of screws towards the upper and lower cervical bodies.

Zero profile

  • The screw heads are fully integrated into the cage to prevent dysphagia.
  • The screw placement is self-guided by means of the implant support according to its angular orientation (40º in relation to the cervical bodies) and also in depth to ensure a perfect placement (impactor with stop).

Simplicity of use

  • It combines the functionality of an intersomatic device and the advantages of a cervical plate.
  • The anatomical shape of the implant (with its convex part superior to the frontal and sagittal planes) allows to restore the selected intervertebral height as well as lordosis of the intervertebral space in question, ensures excellent primary stability of the implant.
