NovApproach Spine Names Kris Renton Chief Commercialization Officer

January 7, 2025 By SPINEMarketGroup

Alachua, Fla. (January 7, 2025) – NovApproach Spine, developer of the patented OneLIFTM interbody spinal fusion system which supports a multitude of surgical approaches, announced today the appointment of spine industry executive Kris Renton as Chief Commercialization Officer.

Renton will leverage more than 25 years of experience specializing in spine sales, including leadership positions with industry giants NuVasive, Stryker and Zimmer Biomet. He joins the implant developer at a high- growth stage of its early commercialization process.

According to NovApproach Spine CEO Raymond Cloutier, “It’s a pleasure to welcome Kris, as we begin a new year with ambitious growth goals. I believe his character qualities, wealth of relationships in the industry and keen understanding of the technical and business aspects of spine make him a perfect fit for our team and will help more surgeons and their patients across the country benefit from our groundbreaking technology.”
Renton’s strategic sales plan introduces significant new surgeon, distributor and hospital engagement initiatives, designed to exponentially increase the company’s reach and service level.

“Seldom do you get an opportunity to solve a career-long problem in the spine space. NovApproach Spine does just that,” Renton said. “I’m eager to build on the company’s offering of unmatched versatility, as we give surgeons the opportunity to select their distributing partner of choice, while also seeking new distributors who have a passion for providing the best in patient care. We’ll be expanding our reach into teaching institutions, enhancing medical education and clinical support, and looking for thought leaders to share how NovApproach Spine supports their approach to spine surgery. Join us in the new year with a new solution–OneLIF!”

Spine surgeons and prospective distributors may contact Renton through the company website. He will also be available at NovApproach Spine’s educational exhibit at Spine Summit in Tampa, Fla., February 20 – 23, 2025.
