Marauder™ Spinal Fixation System is a torque-less posterior fixation system with unique features. Two sizes of polyaxial screw bodies allow use in different locations in the spine. Screw angulation can be locked independently of the rod, resulting in more options for the surgeon to manipulate the anatomy. In addition, the screw can be placed in the bone first, and the assembly snapped over the
screw head. This approach also allows for a unique option of selecting different screw types for enhanced fixation when needed. Intelligent Implant Systems intends to pursue the Active™ Screw thread technology as an additional option for this system.
Features and Benefits:
- Torque-Less Locking – Reduced loads to the anatomy.
- Integrated Rod Reduction – Reduced implantation steps.
- Modular Polyaxial Screws – Ability to place the screw first.
- Option of selecting specific screw needed for enhanced fixation interoperatively.
- Small Profile – Facet sparing implantation.
- Elegant Instrumentation – Intuitive implantation.
