January 1, 2018 By SPINEMarketGroup

Features:

  • MINIMAL INSERTION PROFILE:FlareHawk’s insertion profile of 7-9mm H x 9mm W is smaller than several other commercially available expandable interbodies.
  • MULTIDIRECTIONAL EXPANSION:Adaptive Geometry technology delivers expansion in width (starting at 9mm, expanding to 14mm), height (starting at 7 or 9mm, expanding up to 14mm), and lordosis (0°, 6°, 9° and 15°).
  • SUBSTANTIAL GRAFT DELIVERY:Open architecture allows for substantial graft delivery post implantation into and through the implant into the surrounding disc space. Graft volume is only restricted by the volume of disc removed.

About Expandable Cages

Expandable interbody cages allow surgeons to go through a small corridor and change the geometry of the cage to correspond to what the patient’s spine requires. These implants may help protect a patient’s nerve roots and other structures in the area near the cage or along the corridor through which they are implanted. Sometimes can be implanted with a minimally invasive surgical procedure.

About Accelus

Established through the combination of Integrity Implants and Fusion Robotics, Accelus is focused on providing its proprietary Adaptive GeometryTM technology with pragmatic and economical navigation and robotic solutions with broad clinical use in spine surgery.
