The Firebird® Spinal Fixation System is well suited for applications in Degenerative Disc Disease, Minimally Invasive, and many Deformity procedures. This Mono and Multi Axial system provides an exceptional selection of screw bodies and bone screws with a double lead bone screw thread offered in Self-Tapping/Standard tips and Cannulated/Solid configurations. Additionally, the Firebird System
meets a multitude of demanding surgical needs with its innovative, aesthetic and ergonomically designed instrumentation.

Indications:

The Firebird Spinal Fixation System is intended for posterior, non-cervical pedicle fixation. Pedicle screw fixation is limited to skeletally mature patients and is intended to be used as an adjunct to fusion using autograft or allograft. The device is indicated for all of the following indications regardless of the intended uses:
Degenerative disc disease (defined as discogenic back pain with degeneration of the disc confirmed by history and radiographic studies)
Spondylolisthesis
Trauma (i.e., fracture or dislocation)
Spinal stenosis
Deformities or curvatures (i.e., scoliosis, kyphosis, and/or lordosis)
Tumor
Pseudoarthrosis
Failed previous fusion
