Evolution Surgical to Distribute CP-ESP and LP-ESP Disc Replacement Products in Australia from 25 October 2025

October 23, 2025 By SPINEMarketGroup

Sydney, Australia – 22 October 2025 – Evolution Surgical is pleased to announce a tri-party agreement with Spineway, the manufacturer of the CP-ESP and LP-ESP disc replacement products, and Orthotech, the previous distributor, to take over exclusive distribution in Australia from 25 October 2025.

The CP-ESP and LP-ESP viscoelastic disc prostheses are among the most trusted and widely implanted motion-preserving spinal solutions in Australia, offering advanced biomechanical performance and strong long-term clinical outcomes. Their addition complements Evolution Surgical’s growing portfolio of manufactured fusion devices.

Orthotech has supported the ESP range for over a decade and believes the product’s future success lies in the hands of a larger organisation with a leading national clinical team. “We believe strongly in the ESP technology, and I personally stand by it, having had the prosthesis implanted myself” said Orthotech CEO, Sam Scott-Young.

Spineway expressed deep appreciation for Orthotech’s long-standing commitment and is confident that Evolution Surgical is the ideal partner to drive continued growth and support for the ESP range in Australia.
