DELTA™ Spinal Fusion System

October 12, 2013 By SPINEMarketGroup

The DELTA™ Spinal Fusion System employs unique proprietary technological advancements in poly-axial screw design which aids the surgeon’s placement of the screw, ease of construct installation and ultimately positive surgical outcome. All components are made of Ti6AI4V ELI, a Titanium based alloy, which complies with ASTM F136-98

Features:

  • Wide Bone Screw Angulation:
  • Industry leading 86 degree housing/bone screw angulation;
  • No need for precise rod contouring;
  • No need for precise screw placement;
  • Screw placement in locations/positions otherwise prohibitive with traditional Mono and Poly-Axial Pedicle Screws;
  • Double-Locking Compression Retaining Member:
  • Secure rod/screw assembly interface which “locks” the rod into the poly-axial housing;
  • Eliminates pre-mature loosening of the compression retaining member/rod/housing interface;
  • Make possible segmental compression, distraction and de-rotation after placement/securing the poly-axial housing;
  • Bi-Polar Cup Technology:
  • Increases the bone screw/poly-axial housing interface;
  • Increased assembly strength;
  • Provides a “dual-axial” spherical points of rotation at the poly-axial/bone screw interface;
  • Ability to secure the poly-axial housing prior to segmental compression, distraction and de-rotation:
  • Offers advantage to the surgeon by allowing pre-placement and alignment of the poly-axial housing;
  • The surgeon is able to “lock” the optimal housing placement before segmental compression, distraction and de-rotation;
  • “Locking” the poly-axial housing before compression or distraction reduces inherent sheer-stress on the pedicle caused by compression or distraction;

Device Features:

  • Wide Angulation
  • Double-locking Compression Member System
  • Bi-Polar Cup
  • Strength
  • Screw Housing Preplacement
