CarboFix Spine Launches CarboClear® Hybrid MIS Pedicle Screw System Advancing Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery with Carbon Fiber Hybrid Technology

July 20, 2026 By SPINEMarketGroup

“Designed for Visibility, Engineered for Strength”

Richardson, TX — July20, 2026— CarboFix Spine, a leader in Carbon Fiberspinal implant innovation, today announced the launch of its CarboClear® Hybrid MIS Pedicle Screw System, expanding the capabilities of its established Hybrid platform into minimally invasive spine (MIS) procedures.

Designed to complement the CarboClear Hybrid Pedicle Screw System, the new MIS solution delivers enhanced surgical efficiency while maintaining the imaging and clinical advantages of carbon fiber-reinforced technology.

The CarboClear Hybrid MIS System is cleared for use in oncology and degenerative indications.

The CarboClear Hybrid MIS system incorporates a carbon fiber-reinforced PEEK (CFRP) screw shank with a titanium tulip, providing the added benefit of imaging—critical for intra- and postoperative imaging, radiation planning, and radiation treatment.

Key Features and Benefits:

  • Minimally Invasive Design with Break-off Reduction Tabs: Streamlines MIS workflows, enabling controlled reduction and simplified rod insertion
  • Dual-Lead Thread Technology: Enhances insertion efficiency and improves purchase in varying bone qualities
  • System Compatibility: Fully compatible with existing CarboClear carbon fiberrods, allowing integration into current surgical workflows without additional instrumentation burden

“The launch of our MIS pedicle screw system represents a natural evolution of the CarboClear Hybrid platform,” said John Miller, US VP Sales & Marketing at CarboFix Spine. “Surgeons can now leverage the benefits of carbon fiber technology in minimally invasive approaches—without sacrificing efficiency, versatility, or compatibility with our existing carbon fiber systems.”

By extending its Hybrid portfolio into MIS applications, CarboFix Spine continues to support surgeons in addressing a wide spectrum of spinal pathologies, including degenerative, trauma, and oncology.
