WinnTi Medical was founded by a group of former senior executives from leading orthopaedic companies in China, such as Kanghui, Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, Stryker and Zimmer. The aim was to become a diversified medical devices company with global influence.
In 2013, Wuxi Baide became part of WinnTi Medical Group and was renamed BoTEC Medical. BoTEC focuses on extremity and spine solutions, which have been clinically proven for more than ten years. Its trauma offerings include implants for lower extremity, upper extremity and pelvic applications. BoTEC spine offerings include products for cervical, thoracic and lumbar stabilizations. This acquisition allowed Winnti Medical to enter into one of the fastest growing orthopaedic implant markets in the world, and successfully attracted renowned institutional investors such as IDG, Highlight Capital and Lyfe.Now headquartered in Shanghai — home of product development, sales and marketing — BoTEC has representative offices in Beijing, Xi’an, Chongqing and Guangzhou.Their sales representatives have covered major cities across China, with distribution partnerships extending sales and customer support capabilities internationally.
