Battalion PC system aims to provide surgeons with range of implants and instrumentation necessary for achieving optimal lumbar fusions. All implants are titanium-coated and are available in a wide variety of height and footprint options.
The implants are titanium-coated for potential osseointegration. Finally, the instrumentation offered in the PC Instrument Sets feature ergonomic, dual-patterned handles that allow for optimal surgeon comfort and tactile feel with both wet and dry gloves.
Features:

- Inserter features a 180 degree locking mechanism to control cage during implantation and removal
- Radiographic markers to ease visual assessment of implant placement and fusion process
- Dual-patterned silicone grips and ergonomic handles to prevent surgeon fatigue
About TLIF
A transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion (TLIF) is performed to remove a portion of a disc that is the source of back or leg pain. Bone graft is used to fuse the spinal vertebrae after the disc is removed. TLIF provides fusion of the front and back of the lumbar spine. The front portion of the spine, called the anterior column, is stabilized by the interbody spacer and bone graft. The back portion, or posterior column, is locked in place with pedicle screws, rods and additional bone graft, alongside the backs of the vertebra.
