Benefits:

  • Excellent Stability:Additive manufacturing technology in combination with a unique geometrical implant design facilitates efficient and reliable primary and secondary fixation.
  • Wide Variety of Footprints, Angles & Heights : The unique “net” structure, with its pore size and surface roughness, together with the semi-open internal design allow a large volume of new bone colonisation.
  • Additional Built-in Fixation : The additional feature of built-in pins contributes to further enhance primary fixation, as already guaranteed by the excellent stability provided by the “net” structure.

About Tsunami Medical

The company has been founded in 1997 as a subcontractor of some big manufacturing companies of invasive diagnostic devices. Over the years we bought the Bloodline trade mark, very well known in the Biopsy market, especially in south America, Europe and Russia. Since 2010 the company has been focusing on Additive Manufacturing in addition to the invasive diagnostic devices and Kyphoplasty and Vertebroplasty systems. As a result, the company nowadays offers the largest portfolio of innovative, differentiating 3D printed Spinal cages worldwide and a 3D printed Spinal screw and rod fusion system.

The manufacturing plant located nearby Modena in the heart of the “biomedical valley” in Italy is ISO 13485 certified to design and manufacture medical devices. The manufacturing facilities are located on 1200 square meters with modern machinery and clean rooms of two classes ISO 8 and ISO 5. The company accepts OEM and private label projects upon request.
