IO™ Expandable Lumbar Interbody Fusion System

January 1, 2018 By SPINEMarketGroup

The IO™ Expandable Lumbar Interbody Fusion System is an expandable lumbar interbody fusion device used to provide structural stability in skeletally mature individuals following discectomy. It is indicated for intervertebral body fusion procedures in skeletally mature patients with degenerative disc disease (DDD) of the lumbar spine at one or two contiguous levels from L1-L2 to L5-S1.

  • IO™ Expandable Lumbar Interbody Fusion System VIDEO ANIMATION

The IO™ Expandable Lumbar Interbody can be utilized in both PLIF and TLIF procedures.  It features the lowest insertion profile (4mm) and greatest expansion (18mm) and lordosis (24◦) in a single implant of any expandable interbody on the market.  In addition to the one step expansion, the expandable implant allows for 2.5cc of biologic to be post-packed in the inter-vertebral space. Powered by the MoRe® expansion engine, the IO™ Expandable Lumbar Interbody allows minimization of insertion height and maximization of expansion height, lordosis thus making it easier for surgeons to restore lordosis, maintain sagittal balance while reducing the challenges of insertion and related neural injury.

Features:

  • 4mm Insertion Profile
  • 18mm Continuous Expansion
  • 0° – 24° Lordosis
  • 2.5cc Graft Volume
  • Macro- and Micro-porous Endplate Surface for Rapid Bone On-growth and In-growth
  • Sizing:
    • 10 and 12mm Widths
    • 22, 26, 30mm Lengths
