The PASS OCT ™ is a polyaxial system that is based on the principles of PASS LP™ and adapted to OCT indications using dual-diameter rods and occipital plates.
Fully integrated into our UNiD ASI™ (Adaptive Spine Intelligence) proprietary software platform, services and technologies, our PASS OCT™ will provide the implants and instruments needed to perform the most complex cases while optimizing inventory and clinical outcomes.
Features PASS OCT™
- Friction-fit polyaxial posts for a superior visualization of surgical site and a reduction of instrument manipulation
- High versatility with a wide range of screws, connectors and rods
- Placement of the medial or lateral rod to better fit patient anatomy and graft space maximization
- Connection at distance from the spine for load sharing and a smooth rod seating
- Polyaxial screws:
Friction-fit polyaxial threaded posts (40°) - Standard screws : Ø3.5mm and Ø4.0mm, lengths: 10 to 50mm, by 2mm increments
- Shank screw : Ø3.5mm, lengths: 20 to 50mm, by 2mm incemen, and Ø4.0mm, lengths: 10 to 50mm, by 2mm increments
- Rods
Titanium alloy or CrCo
Lengths: 80mm to 300mm
Dual diameter rods Ø3.5 mm / Ø5.5 mm or Ø3.5 mm / Ø6.0 mm for thoracic constructs PASS OCT™ / PASS LP™ - Occipital plate
Hinge-joint enables the cervical construct to be realized first
3 occipital points of fixation
About Posterior Cervical Fusion
Posterior Cervical Fusion is a procedure intended for the stabilization of the cervical spine through a posterior approach. The procedure is commonly performed using hooks, plates, screws and rods as an adjunct to the fusion. Posterior cervical fusion is performed to treat instabilities which arise from: degenerative disc disease, spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis, fracture/dislocation, atlantoaxial fractures with insatiability, occipito-cervical dislocation, revisions of previous cervical spine surgery and tumors.(Source: Depuy Synthes)
