Transept™ Cervical Plating System was designed based upon an emerging trend in the peer reviewed literature identifying a significant decrease in moderate to severe Adjacent Level Ossification when the plate to disc distance is greater than 5mm from the adjacent level.
The plate has an ultra-thin profile and comes with a wide spectrum of fixed, variable, self-tapping, and self-drilling screws. Also included, are the new unified screws (variable or fixed self-drilling), which work particularly well in ‘poor bone’. Instruments are user friendly and fully customizable incorporating multi-use instrumentation focused on streamlining the surgical process.
Transept™is one of the most advanced plate technologies allowing for extreme screw placement while allowing positive, tactile and audible locking of the screws.
Benefits:
- Manual, One-Step Active Locking Mechanism at Each Level with Visual, Tactile, & Audible Lock Verification
- Screw Placement Up to 38° Cephalad on the Superior End & Up to 38° Caudal on the Inferior End
- Ultra-Thin Plate Designed for Decreased Anatomic Disruption & Increased Disc Space Visibility
- Large Graft Window Enables Graft & Anatomical Landmark Identification
- Self-Drilling, Self-Tapping, Fixed, & Variable Angle Unified Screws
