CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA–(Marketwired – Sept. 12, 2014) – Aurora Spine Corporation (TSX VENTURE:ASG) announced today that it will be participating at the Society of British Neurological Surgeons (SBNS) 2014. The Coventry Trade Show Conference, hosted by University Hospitals
Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust, will be held at the Heritage Motor Centre, Warwickshire, United Kingdom from Wednesday, September 17th to Friday, September 19th, 2014.
“Aurora Spine is please to exhibit this year at the Society of British Neurological Surgeons at the Heritage Motor Centre in Coventry,” said Sven Claes, Aurora’s International Product Director. “We will display our new cervical cage ‘Discovery’, which features Aurora’s new TiNano™ technology.”
TiNano is Aurora Spine’s titanium plasma spray coating on PEEK-OPTIMA interbody cages allowing for the possibility of bone ongrowth due to its porous structure. Titanium plasma spray coating has been developed to increase the possibility for stronger bone-implant interface, which could lead to less complications and faster healing. Aurora Spine’s other minimally invasive technologies, including the ZIP ULTRA™ MIS Interspinous Fusion System and the TiNano MIS Interbody Fusion System portfolio will be on display at our booth #12.
The purpose of the SBNS is the study and advancement of neurosurgery, achieved through the scientific meetings of the society, through publications arising from deliberations about aspects of neurosurgical practice and delivery of Neurosurgical services. The Society promotes safe and effective neurosurgical treatments for patients throughout Great Britain and Ireland.
