We are proud and happy to announce that GLOBAL biomedica is Sponsor of SPINEMarketGroup in 2019!

July 7, 2019 By SPINEMarketGroup

Thank you GLOBAL biomedica!  On behalf of TheSPINEMarketGroup team, we would like to thank you for your PLATINUM Sponsorship and for your support this year 2019.

About GLOBAL biomedica

GLOBAL biomedica is manufacturer of orthopedic titanium implants, extended by designing and constructing in collaboration with leading experts in this field, using innovative and high quality industrial 3D printing technologies. https://globalbmd.com

Let us introduce you the latest products – spinal surgery implants with excellent biocompatibility and bioactivity which are made by Global Biomedica s.r.o. based in the Czech Republic. These are cages for interbody fusion of biocompatible titanium (Ti64ELI). Internal and surface grid structure (Cube vertex centroid – lattice) with reinforced edges ensures not only high stability and resistance to deformation of the cage, or immersion in the vertebral body, but also bioactivity – potentiates the formation of bone in the area of contact surfaces and

thus the formation of a strong connection between the cage and bone, the risk of developing nonunion ( pseudoarthrosis ) is thus minimized. This property is particularly outstanding when compared to the widely used PEEK implants (poly-ether-ether-ketone). There is a wide range of products for ACIF, PLIF and TLIF fusion in many sizes, ACIF range includes 36 size types ( 6 different heights – 4 to 9mm and two different angles of lordosis), PLIF range includes 45 size types ( 9 different heights – 7 to 15mm and different lordosis angles), TLIF range includes 54 size types ( 9 different heights – 7 to 15mm, and two different angles of lordosis). Thus, a wide range of modern tools for simple and, if necessary, minimally invasive cage insertion was designed.

The latest 3D printing technology DMSL (Direct Metal Laser Sintering) is used in production. Global Biomedica has invested in the latest technologies and follows the latest scientific knowledge, behind its main goal, to relieve patients, to minimize the risk of complications and to return patients to a happy and active life as quickly as possible. The logical outcome of the project was the award of CE certification and ISO 13485. After this important milestone, Global Biomedica s.r.o. is still moving forward and with prominent Czech and foreign spinal surgeons as well as with other specialists develops other spinal implants (ALIF, XLIF) and embarks on the most modern areas of medicine in individual cranial implants. We thank to all our partners for their cooperation and we are looking forward to build a new common future.
