VGI Medical Engages Ortho Spine Partners (OSP) to Lead US Commercialization Efforts

January 8, 2019 By SPINEMarketGroup

LARGO, FLA. (PRWEB) JANUARY 08, 2019

VGI Medical was founded in 2007 based on an invention developed by Tov Vestgaarden, PhD. It has become a leader in bringing innovation to the market including VerteLoc, CerLoc, SiJoin and VerteLP. The VerteLoc and CerLoc systems are specifically designed to stabilize and fuse the facet joint by utilizing a unique patented dual geometric design to limit motion of the affected spinal segment. Applying the principles of this success, VGI Medical added SiJoin for Sacroiliac Fusion. VerteLP is one of the latest innovations offering an improved implant for lateral procedures featuring its proprietary Talon Technology.

Founded in 2015, Ortho Spine Partners has successfully led the commercialization efforts for several orthopedic and spine manufacturers. By focusing on creating a winning message and ensuring proper alignment between the surgeon, hospital and service rep, OSP has had multiple success stories including EIT Emerging Implant Technologies which was recently acquired by Johnson and Johnson Medical Device Companies.

“VGI has always focused on advancing technology by making the best products to improve the outcomes of the patients, yet being mindful of our surgeons’ needs to have easy to use instrumentation to complete a complex surgery. While VGI continues to develop products, with two new products expected to be released later this year, we are now making a concerted effort to focus on marketing the company and our products. We are thrilled OSP is eager to partner with us and take on this opportunity to advance VGI Medical to the next level.” said Tov Vestgaarden, founder and CEO of VGI Medical.

Co-Founder and President of Ortho Spine Partners, Josh Sandberg said: “We are very selective with the companies that we engage with. I am so pleased to establish a partnership with a company, like VGI Medical, that is dedicated to delivering the best possible products that improve the surgeon experience while delivering world class patient outcomes.”

“We are always looking to partner with companies that have a desire to bring clinical and economic value to the healthcare provider. VGI Medical has consistently demonstrated their desire to strategically partner with hospitals and ASCs to help them achieve their objectives in an everchanging healthcare environment,” said Chris J. Stewart, COO of Ortho Spine Partners.
