Ada, Michigan – September 24, 2012– TransCorp Spine made its debut in Miami Beach, Forida at this year’s Annual Meeting of the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (SMISS) showcasing its main product line, the SpinePort MIS Access System.
The SpinePort system assists sugeons in performing the TransCorporeal MicroDecompression procedure in the cervical spine. “This year’s SMISS annual meeting was a great venue for us to introduce TransCorp Spine and our portfolio of products to minimally-‐invasive spine surgeons,” commented Chris Welch, President and CEO of TransCorp Spine.
“With exposure to over 200 minimally-‐invasive spine surgeons this past weekend, we expect to get a running start with the commercialization of our SpinePort MIS Access System”. TransCorp Spine will continue to promote its SpinePort System and product portfolio at other spine conventions later this fall.
