Ada, Michigan – August 20, 2012 – TransCorp Spine, Inc., a privately held medical device company focused on developing and commercializing innovative, minimally-‐invasive spine products and procdures announces that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office granted a methods patent for the SpinePort MIS Access System.

The SpinePort system offers a proprietary channel guide that assists surgeons in creating a 6mm surgical port needed to perform minimally-‐invasive spinal decompressions and other types of procedures.
