Spineology Adds Experienced Sales Executives to Sales Leadership Team

April 12, 2021 By SPINEMarketGroup

ST. PAUL, Minn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Spineology Inc., an innovator in anatomy-conserving surgery, welcomes two new area vice presidents to its sales leadership team. With proven track records in the spine industry, Jim Duffy will be Area Vice President of U.S. Sales, East, and Scott Sieczkarek will be Area Vice President of U.S. Sales, West.

Duffy and Sieczkarek bring decades of combined leadership and commercial experience working with disruptive technologies in the spine industry. Their addition will support the growth of Spineology’s anatomy-conserving portfolio, including the recently launched OptiMesh® Expandable Interbody System and the OptiLIF® Procedure. The OptiLIF procedure utilizes specialized instrumentation and techniques to perform lumbar interbody fusion through the smallest access available in the spine industry, and may enhance patient recovery by minimizing tissue and bone disruption.

“I am excited to welcome Jim and Scott to Spineology as we build out a strong sales leadership team,” said Senior Vice President of Sales Matt Cronin. “Both Jim and Scott will be instrumental in driving the anatomy-conserving product portfolio and commercial strategy to accelerate our growth in the minimally invasive surgery space. This new business alignment will leverage their diverse experience leading teams that sold disruptive technologies. Together, they will deliver on the strategic plan and develop talent, programs and services that align with the needs of customers and their patients.”

Jim Duffy offers unique skills and familiarity within the orthopedic spinal implant industry that includes more than 30 years of experience. He has held sales leadership roles with industry leaders such as Synthes Spine, Medtronic, Zimmer Biomet and Karl Storz.

Scott Sieczkarek brings more than 15 years of spine industry experience to Spineology. He spent 10 years with Medtronic and NuVasive before accepting a leadership role with LDR prior to its acquisition by Zimmer Biomet. Most recently, he held the title of Area Vice President, Northwest, at Zimmer Biomet, where he optimized their sales channel structure and delivered sustainable growth above market expectations.

“I am very excited to have Jim and Scott join our sales organization,” said CEO John Booth. “With our recent launch of the OptiMesh System, we are poised for significant growth in the months ahead. The addition of Jim and Scott to our current sales leadership team will greatly enhance our ability to build and scale our distribution network.”
