Nexxt Spine Announces Significant New Hires to Lead Sales and Distribution Teams

NOBLESVILLE, Ind.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Nexxt Spine, LLC, a medical device company focused on designing, manufacturing and distributing innovative spinal solutions to meet the evolving needs of surgeons and health care institutions, today announced recent additions to the company’s strategic sales personnel to strengthen sales and further position the company for long term growth. Bill Del Russo was appointed to Vice President of Sales, George Sims was named as the Central Sales Director and Mark Medina as the Western Sales Director.

As Vice President of Sales, Bill Del Russo will lead Nexxt Spine’s U.S. market growth strategy. Del Russo brings with him 25 years of industry experience. Prior to Nexxt Spine, Del Russo served as the Eastern Director of Sales for Alphatec Spine and was a Distributor with EBI / Biomet and Synthes Spine.“As part of our recent growth, we’re moving very quickly to put experienced team members in key roles across sales and business development to ensure we continue providing the most effective and innovative spine programs for our growing surgeon base,” said Andy Elsbury, President of Nexxt Spine. “We’re excited to be adding such deep talent to the team, all of whom bring strong experience from within the spine industry.

As Central Sales Director, George Sims will run Nexxt Spine’s Central Territory distribution network and continue to build relationships with key opinion leaders in the industry. Prior to Nexxt Spine he held positions of increasing responsibility in sales management with Smith & Nephew, Stryker, Biomet, Kyphon and Orthofix. Sims brings with him 24 years of experience in the medical device industry.

On the West Coast, Mark Medina joins Nexxt Spine as the Western Sales Director. Having worked with some of the largest medical companies in the U.S., 3M Health Care, PSS World Medical and McKesson Medical, Medina brings 19 years of Medical expertise. Prior to Nexxt Spine, Medina was the Western Regional Sales Manager at Osteomed and ran a successful distributorship with The Orthopedic Implant Company.
