The M6-C artificial cervical disc is an innovative next-generation option for people needing spinal fusion or artificial disc replacement. This unique product is designed to mimic your spine’s natural disc’s structure and movement, including up and down, side to side, backward and forward, and rotation. In addition, the M6-C disc is the only disc designed with a gel nucleus and fiber annulus that replicates the controlled range of movement and cushioning effect of the natural disc. By allowing your spine to move naturally, the M6-C disc also minimizes the stress to spinal discs above and below the treated level and other vertebral structures.
Features:
To accommodate the various anatomical ranges, the M6-C artificial cervical disc is available in a variety of heights and endplate footprints.
* 2 Heights: 6mm, 7mm
* 4 Footprints: Medium, Medium Long, Large, Large Long
About Artifical Cervical Disc
An artificial cervical disc is a device inserted between two vertebrae in the neck to replace a damaged disc.The intent of the artificial disc is to preserve motion at the disc space. It is an alternative to the commonly performed anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF), a surgical procedure that is designed to address the pathology by eliminating motion at the diseased disc level.Artificial disc replacement (ADR) surgery—also known as a total disc arthroplasty or total disc replacement (TDR)—is typically performed for a patient with a cervical disc herniation that is causing significant neck pain and/or arm pain that has not responded to nonsurgical treatment options and is significantly affecting the individual’s quality of life and ability to function.Source:https://www.spine-health.com

James Rivera says
The problem with an artificial disc is the plastic wear debris goes out into the area all around the spine and wrecks havoc on your nerves and autonomic system. That’s the problem with me. I am looking at a fusion to replace the m6 because it’s getting worse fast.
