In’Tech Medical Announces Expansion of its Production-Equivalent Prototype Division, The Prototype Garage, in the United States

September 30, 2015 By SPINEMarketGroup

MEMPHIS, TN (PRWEB) SEPTEMBER 30, 2015–In’Tech Medical SAS (http://www.intech-medical.com), a world leader in Contract Manufacturing of surgical instruments in Orthopedics, is pleased to announce the launch of its new production-equivalent prototype division in the United
States, The Prototype Garage (http://www.ThePrototypeGarage.com), now serving the US and European orthopedic markets with local solutions for faster turnarounds.

The Prototype Garage, part of the In’Tech Medical Group, was established at In’Tech Medical’s headquarters in France earlier this year as a standalone prototyping cell. The Prototype Garage team is 100% dedicated to manufacturing production-equivalent prototypes in a rapid delivery setting. The new US platform, embedded in the heart of the Turner Medical production facility in Athens, AL., has been designed to serve the US market and provide highly personalized customer care.

“The global demand for surgery-ready prototypes of instruments and implants is growing exponentially,” said Laurent Pruvost, President of In’Tech Medical. “Our one-stop-shop approach helps our customers to accelerate time-to-market of instruments and implants, and our mission is to provide them with timely, cost-effective solutions. The acquisition of Turner Medical, Inc. in June 2015 made the Prototype Garage USA expansion possible, to the delight of our current and forthcoming US customers.”

“The creation of the Prototype Garage division at the heart of our manufacturing facility here in Athens, Alabama, combined with the integration of the In’Tech Medical expertise and know-how in prototyping, is a competitive advantage that addresses a growing need in the marketplace,” added Bill Turner, President of Turner Medical, Inc. “The new US Prototype Garage Division further connects us to our customers as we strive to continuously manufacture high quality devices, while saving them time and money.”

In’Tech Medical will exhibit their extensive line of Global services at the North American Spine Society (NASS) Annual Meeting (http://www.spine.org), October 14-16 in Chicago, IL. Visit In’Tech Medical at Booth #1633.
