Giglio Interspinous Fusion System

September 10, 2014 By SPINEMarketGroup

By using Tsunami Medical’s cutting-edge titanium net structure in combination with the geometry of the implant, Giglio differentiates from the alternatives by its accelerated osteogenesis characteristics. Primary fixation is assured by accurate sizing in the interspinous space in combination with expandable wings. After implantation and correct positioning of the implant, the wings are being expanded and fixed into the processus spinosus. Next to a solid primary fixation of the implant, the wings also enhance vascularization of the new bone by continuous stimulation of the spinous process.
