Diener Implants appoints René Pröll as Managing Director

September 3, 2019 By SPINEMarketGroup

TUTTLINGEN, GERMANY (PRWEB) SEPTEMBER 03, 2019–DIENER IMPLANTS GmbH, a contract manufacturer for medical devices, appointed René Pröll as Managing Director of the company. He joins Diener Implants after almost 15 years at Paradigm Spine, a medical device company specialized in motion preserving spinal implants that has been acquired by RTI Surgical Holdings, Inc. earlier this year.

At Paradigm Spine, Mr. Pröll has served in several leadership roles, most recently as Executive Vice President for Operations & Finance and Site Lead for the companies’ outside-US Operations in Wurmlingen, Germany. Prior to that, he started his career in the medical device industry at Synthes Inc.’s Spine Solutions, now Johnson & Johnson DePuy Synthes. Mr. Pröll holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington, IN as well as a Diploma in International Management from the ESB Business School in Reutlingen, Germany.

“We are thrilled to have René join the management team of Diener Implants,” said Guntmar Eisen, medical device industry veteran and Co-Founder of Diener Implants. “With René coming on board, we add valuable management expertise to support us through the next growth phase and position Diener Implants as leading contract manufacturer, providing complete sophisticated sterile implant solutions to medical device companies.”

“We are in process of further establishing Diener Implants as a strategic sourcing partner with a focus on orthopedics, especially spine,” adds René Pröll, “With the experience of being on the customers’ side for quite a while, we will further strengthen our product and service offerings to fulfill the complex needs of our customers in a highly regulated environment.”
Diener Implants recently announced their strategic partnership with 3dpac by steripac, a German specialist for medical device packaging, to offer implants sterile packed to their customers. Validated processes ensure several years of shelf life right from the first series production, saving the customer time-to market and help reduce cost.
