The company recently completed their lumbar U.S. IDE and will soon commence large scale manufacturing of their cervical and lumbar disc at their new Boston facility, positioning them to aggressively grow their presence and revenue in key European markets.
Mr. Koenig joins AxioMed after years of successfully introducing innovative orthopedic and neurosurgical medical device products in the U.S., E.U. and international markets. Mr. Koenig was a driving force behind the international success of Spine Solutions Worldwide OUS Sales from 2001-2004 and was responsible for launching and growing ProDisc OUS. “Winni is a senior executive with a strong track record of business success in global medical device markets with very impressive experience in launching innovative spinal products, particularly TDR,” said AxioMed’s VP Global Business David Jones. “We’re excited that Winni shares the vision for AxioMed’s viscoelastic TDR to rapidly gain global market share while offering true advancement in the treatment of disc related spine injuries.”
