A-SPINE entered an agreement whereby Jiangsu IDEAL Medical Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (www.szideal.com.cn) will distribute A-SPINE’s spinal implants across China, effectively immediately.The agreement was signed on October 21, 2015 jointly by Mr. Li Jian-Xiang, Chairman & President of IDEAL Medical, and Mr. David Chang, President of A-SPINE at the headquarters of IDEAL Medical in Changjiagang City, Jiangsu Province, China.
David Chang commented, “The collaboration with IDEAL Medical is indeed an important milestone for A-SPINE in penetrating the spinal market in China, and I believe the success of IDEAL in Chinese trauma market, its long term relationships with orthopedic surgeons and a highly-motivated team will ensure the success of A-SPINE’s products in China in the coming years.” Mr. Lin of IDEAL Medical expressed that this collaboration is definitely a win/win strategy for both companies. The addition of A-SPINE’s products will be a supplement to IDEAL Medical’s current product portfolio and strengthen its position in the spinal market of China. Both companies are also exploring other opportunities of further collaboration with OEMs.
A-SPINE’s products include those for cervical, thoracic and lumbar fixation, interbody fixation, osteoplasty and vertebral body replacement.
