Founded in 2009, Nexxt Spine LLC is headquartered in Noblesville, Indiana, and manufactures spinal implants and custom instruments in-house at our dedicated facility.After serving as the contract manufacturer for companies such as Medtronic and DePuy for 15+ years, Nexxt Spine President and Founder, Andy Elsbury, sought to build upon that experience and expertise as he formulated his plans for Nexxt Spine. His vision was to provide a new perspective and an avenue to better address the health care industry’s challenging demands of medical device companies. He knew it was possible to provide value-added, quality, American-made spinal implants – but also to do so in a more financially responsible manner.
Rather than using off-site or third-party manufacturing, Mr. Elsbury created Nexxt Spine to better control engineering design and product manufacturing. Doing so would provide Nexxt Spine with the ability to closely monitor quality production aspects, yet maintain a lean organization which is nimble and quickly responsive to the custom demands brought forth from today’s surgeons, ambulatory surgery centers and integrated delivery networks. His mission was to create a company which would serve as a catalyst within healthcare and introduce a new value proposition to providers.
Mr. Elsbury long ago sensed the upcoming challenges from within the health care industry. Medical device companies were going to be expected to produce exceptional quality standards, yet were going to need to do so in a more cost effective manner. Nexxt Spine was developed to do just that; Nexxt Spine supports healthcare’s value based purchasing initiatives, ensuring superior quality standards and patient outcomes, yet providing more budget friendly pricing structures to individual facilities and integrated delivery networks alike.
What started with the first surgical case in 2009, now incorporates the Inertia® Pedicle Screw System, Blade® Anterior Cervical Plate System, Inertia® One Shot Pedicle Screw System, Honour™ Spacer System and will soon see the addition of several new product offerings which are currently in the development pipeline.
