1.-CENTINEL SPINE
Centinel Spine®, LLC, announced Steven F. Murray as CEO effective March 16, 2020, succeeding the current Chairman & CEO John J. Viscogliosi, who was stepping down to focus his efforts on further expanding Viscogliosi Brothers, LLC’s 20 years of leadership in the development of innovative companies in the neuromusculoskeletal segment of healthcare.
Steven F. Murray was most recently President of Advanced Sterilization Products at Johnson & Johnson, Inc. and is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in orthopedics and 20 years as an executive. Murray received his MBA from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College before moving on to leadership positions including President of Synthes Craniomaxillofacial, President of Synthes Spine and Worldwide President of the Neuro companies of DePuy Synthes at Johnson & Johnson. Over the course of his career, Murray has led targeted and company growth acceleration initiatives that have helped advance clinical education and patient care around the world. Murray will be leading the next phase of growth for Centinel Spine.
2.- OSSEUS FUSION
Last January, 2020 Osseus Fusion Systems announced Rob Pace as new Chief Executive Officer. As a strong team builder with expertise in improving organizational efficiency, strategic planning, brand cultivation, sales operations, and business execution, Rob’s leadership had allowed his companies to excel at achieving unprecedented revenue growth and profitability. His unique ability to identify and capitalize on trends, challenges, and opportunities had also garnered him a well-respected reputation as a leader in the medical device industry.
3.- ORTHOFIX
Orthofix in November 2019, announced the appointment of Jon Serbousek as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Serbousek succeeds former President and CEO Brad Mason who had previously announced his plans to retire. Serbousek’s experience spans more than 30 years in the medical device and biotech industries. He served in several leadership positions at Biomet Inc., including Worldwide President of Biomet Biologics, Worldwide Group President of Orthopedics, and President of U.S. Orthopedics. Prior to joining Biomet, he held various general management positions within Medtronic Inc., including Worldwide Division President, Spine, and Worldwide Vice President and General Manager of Biologics for their Spine and Biologics business.Additionally, Serbousek spent 13 years with DePuy Orthopedics, a Johnson & Johnson company where he served in numerous roles of increasing responsibility, including Vice President of Marketing and Product Development and Vice President of Spinal Operations.Serbousek has held numerous board positions at for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. He earned his BS in Engineering from Washington State University, his MS in Bioengineering from the University of Utah, and later completed several advanced management programs including a program at the IMD International School of Management in Lausanne, Switzerland.
4.-XTANT MEDICAL
In October 2019 Xtant announced the appointment of Sean Browne as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Mr. Browne served as Chief Revenue Officer of CCS Medical, Inc., a provider of home delivery medical supplies. Previously, Mr. Browne served as Chief Operating Officer of The Kini Group, an integrated cloud-based software analytics and advisory firm; President and Chief Executive Officer and a director of Neuro Resource Group, a venture start-up medical device company that was sold to a strategic buyer; President, Miltex Surgical Instrument Division for Integra LifeSciences Corporation, a publicly held medical device company that acquired Miltex Holdings, Inc.; Vice President, Sales and Marketing of Esurg.com, an e-commerce company serving physician and ambulatory surgery markets; Vice President, Health Systems Division of McKesson Corporation; and held various positions with increasing responsibility at Baxter Healthcare. Mr. Browne holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Finance and minor in Statistics, from Boston University.
